Bill Maher Addresses Trump Tirade and Fact-Checks Kid Rock on 'Real Time'

WASHINGTON PSqure Daily Correspondent

Television host Bill Maher opened the Friday night episode of "Real Time" by addressing a 1,300-word social media tirade directed at him by Donald Trump. Responding to the president's online comments, Maher likened Trump to Taylor Swift.

The dispute follows a White House dinner the two attended earlier in the month. During the previous week's broadcast, Maher had publicly defended his participation in the presidential event, explicitly stating, "You know what? Fuck you. I like these dinners."

Following his remarks on the president's lengthy post, Maher conducted a sit-down interview with Republican Senator Ted Cruz, who appeared on the program to promote a new book. The episode also featured Maher fact-checking Kid Rock after he compared Abdul El-Sayed to the September 11 hijackers.
