Brewers rout Rays 10-1 to take commanding 3-0 World Series lead

WASHINGTON PSqure Daily Correspondent

The Milwaukee Brewers moved within a single victory of their first World Series title by defeating the Tampa Bay Rays 10-1 on Monday night. The result gives Milwaukee a commanding 3-0 advantage in the series and hands Tampa Bay a third consecutive defeat.

The contest was broken wide open in the fifth inning, when the Brewers surged ahead with eight runs to secure a historic blowout. The dominant performance was anchored by three young players who have delivered standout performances throughout the October postseason.

Now holding a 3-0 lead, the Brewers require just one more win to eliminate the Rays and capture the first championship in franchise history.
