Rescue teams dispatched for Indian nationals trapped at Nepal lake

LONDON PSqure Daily Correspondent

Emergency teams in Nepal are working to reach six vacationers from India who are currently marooned near the country's deepest lake. The group became stuck in the region during a period of heavy snowfall.

Before becoming stranded, the travelers chose to advance into the territory despite receiving explicit cautions. Both the local security forces and the group's own Nepali guide had advised them against continuing their journey into the area.

Active rescue operations to extract the individuals and bring them to safety remain ongoing.
