Amit Shah has praised a major anti-narcotics operation spanning Assam, Mizoram, and Manipur, describing the multi-agency effort as a lethal blow to an international narco-cartel.

The coordinated crackdown successfully targeted financial networks tied to the illegal drug trade. During the investigation, participating agencies uncovered hawala transactions totaling ₹100 crore.

In a sweeping move to cripple the cartel's financial infrastructure, authorities froze 1,424 bank accounts. Furthermore, enforcement officials attached properties valued at ₹17.82 crore in connection with the widespread narcotics network.
