Salman Khan warned to apologise to Bishnoi gang or face consequences
An audio recording has emerged threatening the Bollywood star's family after a shooting targeted fellow actor Tiger Shroff's car in Mumbai.
A fresh threat has been issued to Bollywood actor Salman Khan, with an audio recording linked to a man identifying himself as Anil Pandit warning Khan to apologise to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang or face danger to his family. The threat follows a shooting in Mumbai's Juhu area in which unidentified gunmen opened fire on Tiger Shroff's car. Shroff was unharmed, but his driver, Firdaus, sustained injuries in the attack.
A video also emerged in which a man claiming to be Anil Pandit stated that Tiger Shroff was on the Lawrence Bishnoi gang's hit list. Police are investigating both the shooting and the claims made in the audio recording. Anil Pandit, along with Harman Sandhu and Shubham Lonkar, who are allegedly linked to the murder of politician Baba Siddique, are believed to be currently in California.
Baba Siddique was killed in a shooting in 2024, with Lawrence Bishnoi's brother Anmol named as an accused in the case. Siddique's son Zeeshan has since claimed that he himself has received four threats over a two-month period. The spate of incidents has intensified concerns over the reach of the Bishnoi gang's operations inside India.
