Inde Navarrette Hosts SNL Halloween Edition, Calls Out Shane Gillis

Actor Inde Navarrette hosted the Halloween edition of "Saturday Night Live," using her opening monologue to criticize a controversial and sexist joke previously made by Shane Gillis. Navarrette, who recently delivered a breakthrough performance in the blockbuster horror film "Obsession," anchored the holiday broadcast.

The episode gained momentum with a popular sketch titled "The Inventor’s Wife," which centered on a penis-destroying robot. This followed an initially weak cold open that struggled to find its footing despite a crowded stage of unexpected character appearances.

The opening segment featured Tom Hanks crashing the scene as David S. Pumpkins. It also included portrayals of Donald Trump, who stated he might be gay, alongside Nicki Minaj, who was depicted as a MAGA minion.
