JioStar expands streaming footprint to Middle East, North Africa and Western markets

Indian entertainment company JioStar has launched operations in the Middle East and North Africa through a newly formed partnership with the streaming platform Starz Play.

This regional rollout follows a wider ongoing global strategy. Last month, the media firm expanded its footprint into Singapore, the United Kingdom, and Canada.

The push into new territories is fueled by a growing international audience. JioStar's international business chief noted that the overall production value of Indian media has seen drastic improvements, allowing the content to successfully engage audiences across different cultural backgrounds.
