NFLPA demands full investigation into medical care of Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts
The players' union is seeking an inquiry after the league's chief medical officer defended the handling of the quarterback's blood clot condition on Tuesday.
The NFL Players Association is demanding a comprehensive investigation into the medical treatment provided to Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts regarding a blood clot condition.
The union released a statement calling for the inquiry after Allen Sills, the chief medical officer for the league, spoke out on Tuesday. Sills had firmly supported the protocols and medical decisions made during the management of the player's health situation.
In direct response to Sills defending the procedures, the players' organization insisted that a complete review of the quarterback's care must take place.
