Police in Belagavi have arrested two leaders of the Maharashtra Ekikaran Samiti in connection with a legal matter dating back to early 2025.
Personnel from the Khadebazar police station executed the arrests, taking the pair into custody. The police action stems directly from a case that was officially filed in January 2025.
The two individuals are now being held by local law enforcement as part of the ongoing proceedings related to that initial January filing.
