Mangaluru priest arrested over sexual harassment allegations

Authorities in Mangaluru have taken a priest into custody over allegations of sexually harassing underage boys.

The arrest occurred after one of the victims disclosed the harassment to his parents. Following the revelation, the boy and his family approached the Mangaluru Bishop to address the situation.

During their meeting, the Bishop instructed the family to formally report the matter. Acting on this guidance, the minor submitted the official complaint, which subsequently led to the apprehension of the accused.
