Rahul Gandhi unhurt after convoy vehicles collide with ambulance on UP expressway

Congress Member of Parliament and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, escaped unhurt after vehicles in his convoy collided with an ambulance on the Purvanchal Expressway in Uttar Pradesh.

The incident took place in Sultanpur while the Congress leader was en route to a court appearance. The multi-vehicle crash specifically involved five cars positioned at the rear of Gandhi's motorcade. While Gandhi remained entirely safe during the expressway collision, several other individuals traveling with the group sustained injuries.

Those hurt in the accident included Congress party workers, officials, and multiple security personnel assigned to the convoy. Despite the number of cars involved and the reported injuries among the staff and security detail, the incident was described as a minor accident.
