Rams left tackle Alaric Jackson has suspension cut to one game after punching Bills linebacker
Jackson was initially handed a two-game ban without pay for punching Bradley Chubb following Monday night's overtime loss in Los Angeles.
Los Angeles Rams left tackle Alaric Jackson will serve a one-game suspension after the NFL reduced his original two-game ban following an appeal. Jackson had been sanctioned without pay after punching Buffalo Bills outside linebacker Bradley Chubb in the aftermath of Monday night's game in Los Angeles.
The NFL had initially announced the two-game suspension on Tuesday, one day after the incident occurred on the field following the conclusion of the contest. Jackson's appeal resulted in the penalty being halved to a single game.
The altercation followed a hard-fought Monday Night Football clash in which the Bills defeated the Rams in overtime. Buffalo relied on a throwback offensive approach built around downhill running and scrambles from quarterback Josh Allen to secure the victory in Los Angeles.
